摄影家：王 武：
媒体人，中国摄影家协会艺术委员会委员、马鞍山市摄影家协会主席。上世纪80年代中期开始系统学习美术、摄影，先后从事记者、编辑工作。作品题材广泛，不拘一格。著有摄影集 《真如世界》 等。在国家级专业摄影刊物累计发表作品两百多幅，在国内外大型比赛和影展中多次展出和获奖。2005年起研究并进行鹭科鸟类的专题拍摄；2010年，在第十届中国平遥国际摄影大展举办个人专题展览《梦•鹭—行为•情感》获(PIP)优秀自然摄影师奖。
2010年起开始非洲的拍摄项目。
Wu Wang:
Media editor，the member of China Photography Association Art Council, president of Ma Anshan Photography Association. He started to study pure arts and photography in 1980s. Then Wu Wang had become a journalist and editor.
The themes of his works have wide variations, as well as <<As true as the world >>, his first photography collection being published. Over 200 pictures of his works have been cumulative published on national professional photographic magazines, and he has won kinds of honors and display on domestic and international photography competitions.
He devoted himself to concentrating on taking photos of egrets from 2005.In 2011 he held personal special exhibition named << Egret—motion and emotion>> on 10th China Pingyao International Photography Festival, and was awarded the natural photographer honor. He has started to engage in photography project on Africa from 2010.
摄影家王武在埃塞俄比亚拍摄的作品——《生灵》介绍：
人类和宇宙万物因缘和合而成，并没有特殊意义，人并不是宇宙间唯一完美的存在，也不是万物的主宰。人类和宇宙万物相互依存、和谐共生，不能脱离自然环境而独立存在。宇宙万物都有其存在的理由和自身的存在价值，众生应该平等相待。人与自然万物在本性上一致，都有情感和爱，生命本身同生命环境不可分割。万物皆有灵，而人最有情。人，作为一种高级生灵，更应该懂得爱；懂得善待万物，善待同类，尊重生命的价值；尊重宇宙万物生存的其他形态，使它们能够自由的生存。
人类应该学会在生命、自然面前谦卑，对生灵尊重、敬畏。不要因自身的宗教、人种、肤色、财富及掌握的知识藐视其他的生灵，甚至同类。
Creature
Humanity and cosmic inventory are linked by ties of fate，which have no particular meaning. Humanity is neither the only ideal existence in outer space nor the master of everything on earth. Humanity and cosmic inventory are in interdependence and harmonious coexistence, instead of being substantive by being alienated from environment. Cosmic inventory
has its reasons and value of existence, so all living creatures should treat each other equally.Humanity and all things on earth, which are accordant in the nature, both have emotion and affection. The life itself and living environment is indivisible entity. Everything has its spiritualism, as well as humanity has its emotion. As an advanced creature, man should know how to love, how to be kind to all things including their own kind, how to respect the value of life and the other living patterns of cosmic inventory in order to make them survive freely.
Man should learn how to be humble in face of life and nature, respect and revere the creature. Don’t despise other creature as well as its own kind owing to the difference in religion , ethnic group ,complexion, wealth and knowledge in hand.

展 览 前 言
佛教认为世间众生平等，具有尊严。 摄影家王武在埃塞俄比亚拍摄的作品——《生灵》， 让我们感受的就是这种对众生的尊重和敬畏。这些作品没有在题材上猎奇，没有从形式上哗众，也没有站在道德制高点上悲天呼地，看起来真实平和，却足以让观者驻足和凝思。艺术风格严谨、扎实，不媚俗，不浮躁，深邃富有张力，内敛富含哲理，严肃充满情感，平静下深藏爱意。其对自然本源、人类灵魂的触及和探索发人深省，作品中所表现的忧伤和快乐、满足和无助、亲情和冷漠，跨越肤色、地域、贫富，使人产生强烈共鸣。
2010年9月平遥国际摄影大展期间，王武曾展出鸟类摄影作品《梦鹭—行为•情感》并获得了优秀自然摄影师奖，从展出的作品里我看到了他敏锐的洞察力和敏感丰富的内心情感。今天我们有机会随着他的视角，放低身姿，不带偏见，冲破智障，再一次近距离感受生灵的伟大、众生的平等。
“ 郁郁黄花无非般若，青青翠竹皆是法身 ”，从鸟及人，从国内到遥远的非洲，跳跃变化的是拍摄主题和对象，不变的是对生命的理解和尊重，在他的心中自有永恒不变属于自己的真如世界。

FOREWORD
According to Buddhism doctrines, The law of cause and effect is fair to all. Every life should be treated equally and to each owns dignity. These doctrines are the theme of the Life, a set of photography took in Ethiopia by Wang Wu. These fabulous works do not show those doctrines explicitly, but those doctrines are hidden within the photography. The feeling of happiness or sadness, fulfilling or helpless represented by his works have the ability to communicate with guests whether they are poor or rich, young or old.
In the 2011 China Pingyao International Photography Festival, another set of works took by Wang Wu, egret—motion and emotion, won him the best natural photographer honor. From his photography, I found his acuity of insight and abundance of heart which are the exceptional characteristics of a photographer.
All photography of Wang Wu shows justice and admiration to all living creatures, whether those creatures are egrets or people. In his mind exists a real peaceful world. However, only open-minded people can understand what that is.

在一个摄影节上首次实现摄影、艺术、社会学、人类学、城市学跨学科的合作，释放影像全部的力量。
以摄影为主，包含当代艺术、录像、装置等不同形式的展览，众多国际一流的摄影家与艺术家、学者参与展览和学术研讨。
据【侨报记者管黎明10月7日纽约报道】
中国近年来有“北有平遥，南有连州”的说法，指的是两个以摄影展而著称的古老小城。其中的广东连州国际摄影年展今年将迎来第七届展览，参展者包括来自中国、北美和欧洲数十位摄影师。来自纽约国际摄影中心的克里斯多夫·菲利浦斯(Christopher Phillips)和年展艺术总监段煜婷担任今年的总策展人。两人和另外一位策展人及参展者江融，以及去年参展的美国著名摄影师Leo Rubinfien，一起出席了7日在国际摄影中心举办的新闻发布会。
据年展艺术总监段煜婷在记者会上介绍，目前第七届连州摄影节正在紧张筹备中，举办日期为11月19日至12月8日。今年展览的主题为“向着社会的景观（Toward a Social Landscape)”。这一主题是受1966年乔治·伊斯曼摄影博物馆举办的一个同名展览启发，该展览后来成为现代摄影史上著名的“新纪实摄影”的发端。
段煜婷表示，在中国又一次举办主题为“向着社会的景观”的展览，对于中国的摄影有着重要的现实意义。在大约近10年的中国摄影发展中，有一大批中国摄影家的作品走向内在的自我和更加个人化的表达。同时，还有一批拍摄中国大地上以“景观”的剧烈变化为主要内容的摄影家。中国的当代历史正在经历前所未有的巨大变革，现代化进程中社会和城市的剧变使得摄影成为传播、研究这种现实最为重要的媒介。
